i have too many things on my mind
my brain can't handle
the usual stuff, life in general
oh dear Lord i beg for your guidance


today's the first time
for my family back home to see my brother's pic
after being away for almost a month
i reckon mum (especially) must have such mixed feelings just now
happy, proud, excited, and .. sad
how someone you love to death
is growing and becoming a better person day by day
how that very thought brings joy in any given moment
the pride from watching them grow
being happy when they are happy
and sad when they are sad
yet that person
is a million miles away from you
and you miss them terribly but somehow you can't do anything with the distance separating you

when they say time will change everything
there are some things i would rather stay the same
