time's flying
and I've been running here and there too much
which is fine because there are just certain things that I can't afford to lose right now

i didn't realized how tired i was
until i finally woke up today,
without dreading what time it was
it was just an easy Saturday morning

and just now as I stood in the kitchen
glancing at the blue sky outside
there's not much wind, and the sun's shining sheepishly through the clouds
it was just so quiet, the serenity,
time seemed to just stand still
it was
perfect

and right that second
i was overwhelmed with happiness
for just being there



it's funny how things turn out
if you can just realize that happiness is always there
i just haven't been looking at the right places
