not that anyone is looking for me or anything, but i have been MIA for quite some time now! last post was on August, wow..
maybe i will be back more often, i've been wanting to post on a more regular basis, just for my sake i guess. time really flies, and i think it would be nice if i can start making small notes on how everyday goes by. a year from now or something, it would be nice to read them again. so here goes, let's see if i can make it ;)
* these past few weeks i have been working long hours. lack.sleep.but.must.persevere. busy busy busy, but im (surprisingly) having lots of fun at work. i love my colleagues, they make me laugh all the time. sometimes i don't see them because i just stay behind excel sheets in my little corner (i love my corner!). but once in a while they would make really dry jokes, and they'll just suddenly hear me laugh out of nowhere and then they'll laugh at me for laughing at such silly jokes -_-'
* i came home one day and was standing at the stairways in Rotterdam central station. i glanced at the sky, and was just dumbstrucked. it was a full moon that night, so bright and beautiful. with all the lights and buildings behind the station, it was just a really stunning view, a rarity. i quickly snapped a photo, the result really did not do the actual view justice though, it was such a breathtaking experience i can not explain in words. then i continued walking, and there was this man who smiled at me. i think he saw me took the picture, and then also stopped and gazed at the moon. he then looked at me and smiled when our eyes met. i felt like he had some kind of .. err.. appreciation.. in his eyes. i smiled back. and for a moment there i felt like we are connected somehow. corny i know. but it was a nice feeling. next time i should remember to just stop and enjoy the moments, i think i spend too much time running here and there, always hurrying and in the process, missing out on the sentimental things that life has to offer :p
* i am super proud of my sister! check this out :) Creole Chocolaterie & Patisserie is in the highlight :) I can't wait to be home and try that chocolate fondue MmmMMmm..

=) glad you're back!
yeah - sometimes our lives are too hectic that we forgot to pause and admire the things around us.
but i love gazing at the sky after a crappy/busy day and seeing how marvelous it is... doesnt happen too often in singapore because it's mostly cloudy here...but when i was in SF - the sky was oft... comforting :)
